We raise both Broad Breasted White turkeys and Bourbon Red turkeys. The Broad Breasted are a larger bird dressing out between 14 and 22 pounds with ample amounts of tender light breast meat. The Bourbon Red is smaller, dressing out between 8 and 15 pounds. The Bourbon Red has a larger percentage of dark meat that is firmer with a more robust flavor. Either bird will make for a delicious center piece for your Thanksgiving meal with friends and family.
